Wedging is the process of creating max tension... WHY? Well like bench, deadlift and presses, these create a strong and stable foundation and connect your upper body and lower body as one thus the compound movements mentioned. Presses will benefit your swings and your kettlebell presses substantially due to its power of building your upper body strength and lower body stability as one. I would recommend doing your traditional strength training on opposite days of your kettlebell training.
