We are all different, we all move different and operate different. I think the best way to find your rhythm is through breathing which is relaxation! Doing a jerk for the first time? Focus on steps instead of the actual exercise... rack, hips in, glutes crunched, elbow to hip, knees slightly bent and now you are in spring action! you are pressing up from your legs.
